Duchess ranked best shape
The diet-conscious Duchess of York has a better figure than the super-slim Princess of Wales, according to Britain’s weightwatchers.
A poll among readers of “Slimline” magazine returned almost twice as many votes for the Duchess’s figure as for the Princess. The Duchess is reported to have shed 10kg this year.
When it came to “the mo£t attractive woman" stakes among all Royals and female personalities, the Princess of Wales polled twice as many votes as the Duchess, who came second. The television star, Joan Collins, was third.
A spokesman for the magazine, which asked 1.5 million readers to vote, said: “There is no doubt the Princess of Wales remains the number one attraction in the world. But Fergie has also made a big impact, with her sexier, more rounded figure.”
The Princess was voted the woman with the prettiest face, and the best dressed woman, with the Duchess in sixteenth place in the dressing category.
The Duchess who was second in the prettiest face stakes, took the crown for the best head of hair. The Princess of Wales was rated joint third for hair behind the actress, Rula Lenska.
The “Dallas” star, Victoria Principal, topped the vote for the best-looking body, just ahead of Joan Collins. Another television star, Felicity Kendall, was rated top of the female bottoms — rear of the year.
The Duke of York kept the awards in the family by being voted the world’s most attractive man.
He beat the “Magnum” actor; Tom Selleck, in spite of Selleck heading the poll for the shapeliest bottom and legs, the bestlooking body, and the nicest hair.
