Search resumes today
PA Hamilton A search for two boys missing in the Firth of Thames will resume today. The boys, Jason Paul, aged 15, and his brother Denis, aged 13, of Matamata, were last seen on Sunday afternoon in an aluminium dinghy near Tapu, 19km north-west of Thames. They had no life-
jackets, motor or anchor. The dinghy was found washed up in Wharekawa Bay about midday yesterday after apparently being blown across the Firth. There was no sign of the boys. The Hamilton police said last evening an air and shore search had been unsuccessful and would resume today.
