Chills tour
The Chills have announced a New Zealand tour early next year, including Christchurch on the itinerary, before heading back to Britain and Europe. It’s an old show business cliche, “back by popular demand,” but with The Chills it has happened because after the band’s last visit to London, dates were arranged in Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, and Norway, beginning on February 13.
The Chills plan to record its debut album in London at Point Studios after this tour and then return to Europe.
Tentative dates have been arranged in Denmark, Sweden, France, Italy and Spain, culminating in a big tour in the United Kingdom in the (northern) summer. The tour begins in Hamilton on January 14, and ends with three consecutive evenings at the Carlton Hotel, Christchurch, from January 29.
