The boy choristers of the Christchurch Cathedral are in excellent voice as they give a 30-minute carol recital in the nave of the Cathedral. Visitors are invited to leave gifts for children under the Christmas tree in the Cathedral. These will be distributed by the Save the Children Fund to needy children and orphanages in Canterbury. Some toys will also be sent to Lesotho, in southern Africa.
