Tyro holes-in-one

Brian Tyro belied his surname by playing the perfect golfing shot at the tenth hole on the Hanmer Springs course last week — thus giving his brother-in-law, on holiday from Ireland,

more to admire than just the scenery. It was the first hole-in-one for the 20-handicapper from the Waimairi Beach club. He played the shot with a 7-iron at the 151 m hole.
