Carols for Christmas

One will begin its Christmas week. celebrations tomorrow (Sunday) evening with a programme of carols in the "Opus Christmas Special.”

From the Wellington Anglican Cathedral, the Orpheus Choir with a guest soloist, Malvina Major, will perform a range of traditional and modern carols including favourites like “God Rest

You Merry' Gentlemen,” “Deck the Halls,” “Good King Wenceslas” and "The 12 Days of Christmas.”

A special feature of the programme is a bracket of New Zealand composed Christmas songs.

The conductor is Professor Peter Godfrey, the organist is Janet Gibbs, and the brass ensemble is led by Ken Young.
