This is a senior supervisory position and the successful applicant will be responsible for the efficient operation of the beef boning complex. Reporting to the boning floor supervisor are four assistant foremen and a departmental workforce of approximately 120 employees. The position requires a person who has a knowledge of industrial relations and the ability to organise a large workforce, interpret industrial agreements and awards, and communicate at all levels. A practical experience of beef boning operations would be advantageous but is not an essential requirement for the position.
