PROGRAMMER/ANALYST Applications are invited for the position of Programmer Analyst in the Economics Department at Victoria University of Wellington. The post is available from February 1 1987, on a fixed term basis of two years in the first instance. The Department uses an IBM 4341 and a Vax computer with increasing use of personal (especially Apple Macintosh) computers. The appointee’s primary duty will be to advise Economics Department staff on the use of the computers and software and maintain and manipulate data bases for research, teaching, etc. Applicants should have computing experience and knowledge of at least two computer languages.
