Comfortable Terminus bar
For people wanting a quiet place to socialise in pleasant surrounds,' there is no better place than the Terminus Lounge. •It has very comfortable booth seating around the walls as well as several four-seater tables.
Again, the transport theme is very much in evidence with many reminders of Christchurch’s past hanging on the walls.
The decor and carpets are in the best of tastes and the bar stocks a full range of imported beers and liqueurs. The lounge stands adjacent to the Trams Family Restaurant and is‘an ideal place for patrons to have a pre- or post-dinner
drink. There is entertainment in the Terminus Lounge bar every Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening.
“The music we will be playing will be very unobtrusive. We want to offer high quality background type music which people can easily talk over while still enjoying the experience,” said the hotel manager, Mr Lindsay Vickers.
• Children are not ignored as far as their needs are concerned. They, in fact, have their own lounge with blackboard facilities for drawing, a large bright mural and their own video recorder on which cartoons are continually played.
