Birthday cake give-aways and drinks

Mr Movie will celebrate its second birthday this week-end. “There’ll be giant giveaways, prizes galore, birthday cake, and champagne and beer will be flowing,” says Mr Movie manager, Mr Ross “Griff” Griffiths. “We’ll have the Mr Movie bus here, the carpark will be lavishly decorated, and Allan Dick from Radio Avon will be broadcasting live. “Prizes will include movies, Pink Panthers, Garfields and posters, and there’ll be a lolly scramble for the kids. “Our back car-park will be the activity point, and the only access will be through the shop. “Only members will be eligible for the giveaways. “Membership costs $25.

“When you join, you get a membership card with your photo on it. “This is all done on the premises, and is great for security because no-one can hire out a film under a false name. “Membership also entitles you to a two dollar discount on blank tapes. “Music tapes, children’s, sport, and anything less than 80 minutes long, costs $4 for over-night hire. Full features are $6. “Everyone’s welcome to come down and chat this week-end,” says Mr Movie. “People can mix and mingle with other members. “It’s going to be a great two day party.”
