Question time

The South American Question play at the Gladstone Tavern this evening, along with a new band, Max Block.

A single is being recorded in a studio by the South American Question, and they hope to release it early next year to coincide with an extensive tour of the North Island. The Rue and The Verve join forces tomorrow evening at the same venue (the Gladstone).

The Rue have been making regular appearances in the city this year, and this time they will be featuring new songs. The band will also be complemented by the work of Christchurch artist, Jo Cockram. For The Verve it is their debut as they only formed their present lineup about six weeks ago. They have recorded music at the Audio Access studio for a videotape by Varina Sydow, which will be shown on the last “Radio With Pictures.” Part of The Verve’s performance will feature visual work by Niki Phillips.
