Nephew’s death
PA Wellington The nephew whose illness prompted the Minister of Overseas Trade, Mr Moore, to return prematurely from the Latin American trade mission died on Thursday night. A spokesman for Mr Moore’s office said that the funeral for his brother’s son, Mr Chris Moore, aged 20, would be
held in Christchurch early this week. Mr Moore, who was close to his nephew, would resume normal duties by the middle of the week, the spokesman said.
The Minister left the trade mission in Venezuela two weeks ago to be with his nephew, who had had cancer for some time.
