Ross Elliot invited
PA Levin Levin rider, Ross Elliot, aged 16, has been chosen as the Wellington district's representative to ride in the Air New Zealand Apprentice Special at Ellerslie on Tuesday, November 25. Elliot, who has ridden a career total of 29 winners, nine of them this season, scored his biggest win to date when he rode Red Hawk to victory in the Benson and Hedges Gold Cup at Riccarton recently. Elliot is apprenticed to his father. Levin trainer Kevin Elliot.
