Beer ad. wins again
PA Auckland The advertising agency, MDA Mackay King, has won another award for a Steinlager beer commercial. A cinema commercial featuring the English comedians, Mel Smith and Griff Rhys Jones, has won the gold award in the alcoholic beverages category *of the International Film s "and Television Festival of New York.
This is the top award given and the New Zealand advertisement was chosen from more than 250 entries from around the world. The same commercial received the Prix National. in the Cinema and Television category of the International Advertising Festival at Cannes as well as recognition at the Clio Award in New York earlier this year.
