Crellin Strada director
Mr Peter Crellin has been appointed executive director of Strada Holdings, Ltd, with responsibility for marketing.
Mr Crellin is a very experienced marketer with many innovations to his credit He was a member of the team which launched Capital Life Assurance, Limited, in 1970 and was that company's managing director from 1977 to 1985.
Since March, 1985, Mr Crellin and his partner, Mr Peter Stuart, have been establishing a number of new business ventures.
Earlier this year, Strada’s directors approached Messrs Crellin and Stuart for assistance in diversifying the company’s product range, and expanding the client base. What started as a proposal to form a new joint venture company has resulted in Mr Crellin taking a shareholding in Strada, and being appointed to the board.
In announcing this appointment, the directors commented:
. “We are very pleased to appoint a director of Peter Crellin’s skill and experience. His record of innovation and success in the tough world of life insurance are well known. He will be a great asset to our company.
“We already have a proven performance in pur ability to locate innovative investment opportunities.
"However, we felt the need to strengthen the marketing side of our business, and to increase and diversify our product range. Peter will take charge of this new development for the benefit of our clients and shareholders.”
