Adult education legislation
Wellington reporter The Government is unable to say when adult education legislation will be introduced in Parliament, or passed. The Minister of Education, Mr Marshall, had been asked what undertaking if any he had given the National Council of Adult Education on the timetable for introducing the legislation. It had been intended to introduce the bill late this year or early next year, but he could not give a firm indication about its timetable, he said.
