PA Invercargill The President of Botswana, Dr Quett Masire, began a two-day trip to Te Anau and Fiordland yesterday with a visit to Te Anau wildlife bird reserve. Dr Masire, Mrs Masire, and the official party flew

to Manapouri from Christchurch in an Air Force Andover. The Minister of Internal affairs, Mr Tapsell, accompanied Dr Masire to the reserve where he saw tui, wood pigeon, kea, and kaka before going to the takahe enclosure.
