Gatecrash problem at party
PA Auckland The police in riot gear dispersed about 200 people who gatecrashed a birthday party at a hall in Coatesville, north of Auckland, early yesterday. Five people were arrested on behavioural offences, and several police
officers suffered minor injuries from missiles. Senior-Sergeant Ron Davis, of the Takapuna police, said the organiser of a combined birthday party at the Coatesville Hall asked for help when about 200 more people than the 150 invited turned up.
