Reingard fourth
The Riccarton galloper, Reingard, followed up his Canberra Cup win with a fourth in the sAust4o,ooo City of Tattersails Club Cup over 2400 m at Randwick, Sydney, on Saturday. The race was won by another New Zealand galloper, Run for Cover, which qualified for a Melbourne Cup start by
passing the prizemoney and distance qualifications. Trainer Royce Dowling said Run for Cover would not have another start before the Melbourne Cup. “He doesn’t need another run and I’ll take him to Melbourne next week,” he said.
