Support for timber
Greymouth reporter More than 2000 people gathered in Sewell Street, Hokitika, yesterday afternoon to express their support for a continuation of the timber industry on the West Coast at its present levels. The rally had Teen
called to demonstrate support for the industry while the working party on West Coast forests was meeting in the adjacent Forest Service building preparing its report to the Government on the future of production and reserved forests for the region.
