w z * > knitwit newj>l Dear Knitwits, Phew, what a week! The collection was great wasn't it. If you need to refresh your memory on some particular style, the garments will be in the store for some weeks. “CHANEL” LINEN Look, the lovely new Knitwit exclusive fabric we introduced you to last week has arrived in more lovely shades including — Black Pimpernel, Trianon and Alabaster. Lovely for a summer suit, trousers or a classic dress. CONGRATULATIONS to Mrs Shepherd on winning 2nd Prize in the N.Z. Woman’s Weekly Competition. Mrs Shepherd has won a superb Pfaff 1171 sewing machine and it was delightful to present it to her on Saturday at the parade. • The new designer pattern 700 is now here in the store. It really is fabulous and exactly the same as that glorious pink dress Vera wore at the 'Dare to Dream Dinner’ here in Christchurch. Do call in and see this style made up as well. • The other new pattern is the Resort Pattern 9380 with lovely skirts, tops, trousers etc. Just right for the new season and for holidays coming up. Make a mix ’n’ match story!! Our basic 8 certificate Course is virtually booked to capacity. We still have one or two vacancies in our October series a.m. or p.m. But you will have to book in quickly. This will be the last series for the year.
