Town Planning CANTERBURY UNITED COUNCIL REGIONAL PLANNING SCHEME SCHEME SECTION 1 - SETTLEMENT DISTRIBUTION PROPOSED CHANGE NO. 1 PURSUANT to Section 12 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1977, The Canterbury United Council has adopted a. Proposed Change No. 1, Planning Map No. 1 to the Second Review of the Canterbury Regloiial Planning Scheme, Section One, Settlement Distribution. This follows consideration by the Canterbury United Council of all submissions concerning the Draft Change No. 1 to the Regional Planning Scheme, Section One, previously notified In March, 1986. The Proposed Change provides for minor extensions to the urban area of Halswell, Templeton and the western edge of the metropolitan area. The Change puts Into effect previous decisions by the Planning Tribunal and agreements between the Canterbury United Council and constituent councils relating to the definition of the urban boundary of Planning Map No. 1. Any local authority may, within two months, request the Planning Tribunal to conduct an Inquiry Into any provision Included tn, or matter not Included In, the Proposed Scheme Section. The Proposed Scheme Section may be Inspected at the following places: (1) The office of the Canterbury United Council, Fourth Floor, Civic Offices, 163-173 Tuam Street, Christchurch between the hours of 8.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. Monday to Friday (except holidays.)
