Rural giant starts trading
PA Wellington Wrightson Dalgety began trading yesterday as the nation’s largest rural servicing company, after the merger of Wrightson NMA Ltd and Dalgety Crown.
The company, which is Fletcher Challenge’s rural
servicing subsidiary, will operate 150 outlets in 29 major areas throughout New Zealand.
The managing director of Wrightson Dalgety, Mr Alistair McLachlan, said staff were looking forward to the challenge of making the new company efficient and competitive
for the benefit of farmed clients. I
