Problems with Emulator
The Australian Federal Trade Commission is investigating promotional claims about the Emulator add-on product for the Commodore Amiga.
Mr James Rudasill, of the Commission’s enforcement division, says claims that the Emulator makes the Amiga compatible with the IBM PC are not true, reports the "Sydney Morning Herald.”
“There are significantly fewer than 20 programs that can run with the Emulator, and they run six times slower than on the IBM,” Mr Rudasill said.
The Emulator should not be confused with Sidecar, a board that plugs into the Amiga providing almost full compatability.
