Vamgas lift
Vamgas, Ltd, has reported a lift in half-year net profit of 24 per cent despite a 10 per cent fall in sales revenue. The oil and gas producer said net operating profit rose to sAust6 million in the six months ended June 30, compared with $4.8 million in the previous corresponding period. Sales revenue fell to $41,361 million fr0m545.950 million despite a 27 per cent increase in sales of crude oil, condensate and liquid petroleum gas liquids. Vamgas directors said the dramatic fall in the international price of oil had significant effect on sales prices, particularly in the second quarter of the year.
