$15M for hotel site?
PA I Auckland An Auckland auctioneer expects 'the site of the former Star Hotel, opposite the Regent hotel in Albert Street, to sell for more than $l5 million when it! goes under the hammer next month. Bayley’s Real Estate auctioneer, Mr Terry Thornton, said the 3173 square metre site was one of the most valuable pieces of real estate in New Zealand. The site is owned by Togen Investments New Zealand, whose parent company is based in Hong Kong. The land has been vacant since 1982 when the Star Hotel was demolished. ■'
