Auditions
Thomas Brown will be the director for Elmwood Players end-of-year production “Pardon Me Prime Minister.” It is a farce which is a spin-off from the popular television series, “Yes Minister.” Prime Minister Right Honourable George Venables, M.P., his Parliamentary Private Secre-
tary, and Chancellor of the Exchequer and a scantily-clad night club hostess are involved in the machinations at Number 10 Downing Street on the eve of the presentation of a puritanical budget. The play will be a South Island premiere. Auditions will be held on September 13 and 14 for the cast.
