The steel barge has leading dimensions of 32.9 metres long, 9 metres beam and 2 metres laden draft. The hopper has capacity of 230 cubic metres or a lifting capacity of 350 tons. The barge is equipped with its own 4 ton Priestman crane, suction dredging equipment and hydraulic winches, the barge is shaped at both ends for ease of towing.
