P.M.T., poor diet linked by report
NZPA-Reuter Brighton A lifestyle of processed junk food, alcohol and tobacco makes women more susceptible to premenstrual tension (P.M.T.), a British medical group specialising in treatment of the condition has said. The Pre-Menstrual Tension Advisory Service said in a report that women of child-bearing age had become more prone (to the
syndrome through lifestyles which caused vitamin deficiencies. The group said that out of 500 women surveyed in five towns and cities throughout England, 368 suffered from pre-men-strual tension, in a sample of 150 women,,B7 per cent felt better after three months on a specialised diet and nutritional supplement programme, it said.
