Pottery shapes
An Auckland husband and wife team will show the latest trend in pottery at the Courtyard Pottery from today. Jeannie and Andrew Vander Putten will show bowls, vases, pots, and shapes.
Jeannie has developed a method of inlaying coloured clays into porcelain
and because of the highly decorative result has concentrated on simple forms such as spheres and cubes. ,
Andrew’s work is mainly bowls and vases and jars decorated in the tradition of Majolica ware.
The exhibition will run until August 31.
