Men hurt in jump
The Chandigarh fire chief, R. K. Ranga, ordered a dozen of his men to jump, so they did, and three broke their legs and the rest suffered other injuries, the “Indian Express” said. Mr Ranga denied he was drunk at 2 a.m. when he ordered his men to jump from a 3.6mhigh fire engine to the concrete floor of a fire station to prove their physical fitness, the newspaper said.—New Delhi.
