A squirrel finds a motor-bike
By HUGH HARRISON, aged 9 One day there was a squirrel called Fred, who went to Rudy Rabbit’s house to play. Rudy asked Fred if he wanted to stay and have lunch with him. Fred said “Yes.” After lunch Fred went home. On his way home he found a motor-bike. He had a look to see what it was called. It was a Honda V.F. 250. He took it to the police station, but
no-one claimed it. After six months Fred was allowed to keep it. He rode it home. He got about 12 metres and fell off. He got a sore arm. He kicked the motor-bike and got a sore leg. He had to go to hospital for six weeks. When he got out of hospital he took up motorbike lessons for six weeks. After that he rode the motor-bike to work and he didn’t get hurt after he had motor-bike lessons.
