GST help
PA Wellington ANZ Bank has introduced a service designed to assist businesses to prepare their GST returns. "This new service is a move ANZ Bank is taking to respond to the needs of New Zealand’s small businesses. It will enable GST returns to be completed swiftly and accurately," ANZ Bank’s managing director, Mr Brian Weeks, said.
By using a simple code entered on cheque and deposit forms, the GST package lists all transactions into a comprehensive report. The report lists all credits in date order and debits in cheque serial number order, and also provides totals for each under four GST rating codes.
