One false move?

Two Australian acrobats, Delmere and Rosa, performing above running chainsaws, an act they will repeat at the Industries Fair in Christchurch next month. The couple perform what their promoters assert is the only act in the world balancing above running chainsaws. For variety they also balance

on one hand above knives. They are being brought to Christchurch by Mancan, the commercial division of the Canterbury Manufacturers’

Association. Mancan organises the fair each year. A spokeswoman for Mancan said that Delmere and Rosa would give two free shows a

day at the fair, which will be held at the Canterbury Court Exhibition Centre from August 23 to September 6. It will be the first time that Delmere and Rosa have performed in the South Island. They will not perform anywhere else in the south before going to the North Island for shows.
