Island television move
NZPA-AAP Suva Island members of the South Pacific Forum have moved another step towards a regional noncommercial television network. At an informal meeting in the Cook Island capital of Rarotonga they voted unanimously to ask the Forum to establish a regional radio-television de-
velopment committee. The resolution is expected to go before the meeting of Forum leaders in Suva opening on August 8. The committee would be similar to the Forum communications committee which led to the South Pacific Telecommunications Development Programme.
