Norman extends lead

PA Dunedin The world No. 2 squash player, Ross Norman, of Auckland, extended his lead over his. compatriot, Stuart Davenport, in their New Zealand exhibition series with a convincing win at the Otago Club last evening. Davenport (Wellington), the world No. 3, had no answer to the speed and agility of Norman in the fifth match of their series and Nohnan won, 42-21.

The match was scored under an accumulative points system in four 15-mlnute quarters. Norman, who has won three of the five matches so far, now leads the series 169138 with the next match in Ashburton today. The next big tournament for the pair is the Americas Cup event in Perth during September, before returning for .tte New Zealand Open and heading overseas again.
