A motion seeking an expression of deep regret at the reinstatement of the Cavaliers rugby player, John. Mills, to the staff of Christ’s College was lost at the Waiapu
Anglican Diocesan Synod at Gisborne. After a strong debate a poll was taken with both the clergy and Bishop in support. However, the laity opposed the move.—(PA).
