Award to worker for disabled
PA Palmerston North
The Disabled Persons Assembly’s chief executive, Mr Ken Munro, has received a Commonwealth Foundation scholarship to present a paper on communications technology at an international rehabilitation conference in Bombay in September. The assembly’s national president, Mr John Smith, said the sponsorship reflected the high level of respect held by neighbouring countries for work done for the disabled in New Zealand.
