PA Rotorua Four tries in a 12-min-ute burst in the middle of the second half allowed Bay of Plenty to score a 42-9 win over Thames Valley in a non-champion-ship rugby match at Rotorua yesterday.
Scorers.— Bay of Plenty 42: Wayne Ranui, Gordon Tietjens, Brett Iti, Arthur Stone, Warren Jennings, Brent McKillop, tries; Darren Stone 4 penalties and 3 conversions. Thames Valley 9: Greg Ellis (2) and Stephen Ritchie, penalties.
