Small ’quake hits capital
PA ■ Wellington Wellington was hit by an earthquake measuring about 4.5 on the Richter scale about 5.20 p.m. yesterday. ■ The earthquake’s centre was somewhere off - the seaward side' of Kapiti Island, said a seismologist, Dr John Haines. He described the earthquake as small to moderate.
