Horsy havoc in Hoon Hay
Three horses caused havoc in the vicinity of Rose Street and Hoon Hay Road last evening after escaping from a paddock and colliding with cars in three separate incidents. A Ministry of Transport spokesman said that noone was injured in the accidents but the horses evaded would-be captors for some time.
According to a police spokesman the horses’ owner caught them after cornering them in Lyttelton Street about 7.30 p.m.
