Traffic chief sues TV
PA Auckland The chief traffic officer of Otahuhu, Mr Ernest Seath, is suing the Broadcasting Corporation for $200,000. Mr Seath’s statement of claim was filed in the High Court at Auckland yesterday. He also claims $50,000 from two traffic officers, Messrs Aaron Nattrass
and Paul Jackson. The claims follow up allegations broadcast on television’s “Eye-Witness News” of summons documents being mishandled at the Otahuhu traffic department. Messrs Seath, Nattrass and Jackson have been suspended on full pay pending the outcome of a police investigation.
