The successful candidate will clearly understand, and have proven experience in, the formulation of sophisticated marketing plans Incorporating all aspects of the marketing mix. The position will require highly developed skills in commissioning and Interpreting formal research, market segmentaton and positioning, consumer needs identification, product development and presentation, the motivation of retailers to be intergral part of a fully co-ordinated promotional campaign, and a good feel for all media, P.R., and other promotional vehicles. REQUIREMENTS: • Proven successful marketing management experience In fast moving consumer products. • Above average Inter-personal, written and oral communication skills, with the ability to relate to and gain the confidence and respect of all sectors of the • Sound leadership qualities, with the ability to develop an appropriate organisational structure, and a highly motivated team with professlna! expertise. • A highly results-orlented self starter who has the ability and desire to develop, implement, and be accountable for a results effective Business Plan. • A clear understanding of the capabilities and roles of consumers, retailers, manufacturers, and producers in an integrated and successful marketing campaign. » Experience and a proven track record are the key requirements and it is therefore unlikely that appropriate candidates will be under 30 years of age. • Ability to travel regularly In N.Z. and occasionally overseas.
