Airman’s body found

NZPA-AP London Libya Radio said yesterday that the body of a second American airman had washed ashore near Bin Girdan, in Tunisia. The broadcast, monitored in London, quoted the Libyan news agency, Jana, as saying that the body was that of the pilot of a warplane shot down by Libyan anti-aircraft fire when United States jets attacked Tripoli and Benghazi on April 15. An Air Force F-11l was

lost during the raids. The United States Defence Department identified the missing airmen as Captain Fernando Ri-bas-Dominicci, aged 33, of Utuado, Puerto Rico, and Captain Paul Lorence, aged 31, of San Francisco. On May 7, Libyan television showed the corpse found at Al-Zawiyah, which was clothed in a flight suit. The television report said that a helmet with the name Lorence printed on it was found near the body.
