Unit for babies ‘too full’
PA Wellington Wellington’s intensivecare unit for premature babies has been too full to take babies from other centres, as intended, according to its director, Dr David Brabyn. He said that since his taking up the directorship on May 1, two mothers had been flown to other centres to have their babies, because the neonatal unit did not have room for them.
