Q Christchurch Drainage Board TRADE WASTE CHARGES NOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Christchurch Drainage Board held at the office of the Board In the City of Christchurch on the 28th day of May 1986, the Board resolved by Special Order in terms of Section 494 if the Local Government Act 1974, the Christchurch District Drainage Act 1951 and the Christchurch Drainage Board Bylaw No. 2 that the Trade Waste Charges for the year lommencing April 1, 1986, be fixed as follows: Rate of Discharge — $20,875 per annum per litre per minute Suspended Solids — $23,621 per annum per kilogram per day Biochemical Oxygen Demand — $24,058 per annum per kilogram per day ;uch charges being inclusive >f Goods and Services Tax. The Board further resolved iy Special Order in terms of Section 494 of the Local Govirnment Act 1974 to alter SecJon 28 of the Christchurch Drainage Board Bylaw No. 2 Trade Wastes) as follows: In any case: a) Where the volume of trade wastes to be discharged from any premises does not exceed five thousand litres per day; or ’b) Where the volume and characteristic of any special wastes are not such that the Board requires the occupier to enter into an agreement as provided In Section 23 hereof, the Board may, in lieu of any zither charge or charges which ?ould be made under this Bylaw, require the occupier to pay a fixed charge of $52 per annum inclusive of Goods and Services Tax, payable in advance. And Notice Is further given that the resolutions will be confirmed at a meeting of the Board to be held at 7.30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 25, 1986. BY ORDER OF THE BOARD N. TRANSPORT ACT 1962 ON review of the rates for Wedding and Funeral hires the Secretary for Transport has, by Decision No. 4758 amended all taxicab fare schedules to allow rates for Weddings and Funerals to be fixed by separate agreement. The full Decision, which has immediate effect, may inspected at the Ministry of Transport offices in Auckland, Blenheim, Christchurch, Dunedin, Gisborne, Greymouth, Hamilton, Hastings, Hokitika, Invercargill, Masterton, Napier, Nelson, New Plymouth, Oamaru, Palmerston North, Rotorua, Tauranga, Tlmaru, Wanganui, Wellington, Westport and Whangarel. Any appeal against this Decision must be lodged in accordance with the provisions of Section 153 of the Transport Act 1962, accompanied by the prescribed fee of $7O with the Secretary, Transport Charges Appeal Authority, Ministry of Transport, Private Bag, Wellington on or before July 21, 1986.
