A family business
Rowe Sandblasters is very much a family business. Wayne Rowe is manag-ing-director, supervising and taking part in the day-to-day operations carried out by the company’s four employees. Jackie Rowe is a director, and handles all the office work, as well as having something of a reputation as a crane driver. The Rowes prefer to keep the company relatively small so that Wayne can handle the customer contact and quality control himself. “Every piece of steel is an individual — nothing goes through the system without my seeing it,” he said.
