Joint stake sold Wattie Industries, Ltd, and Maurice Kain, Ltd, have sold their joint interest in Griff Holdings, Ltd, to Mr A. L. Hutchison and Mr T. S. Lowndes. Griff Holdings distributes hard floorings, textiles and related products, operating from Wellington, Auckland and Christchurch. A statement from Wattie said Messrs Hutchison and Lowndes have several business interests in similar fields.
Editor wins The editor of the Welling-ton-based “Accountants’ Journal,” Mr Chris Wright, aged 28, has won this year’s NZI Finance Journalism Award. S2OOM tender Today’s Treasury bill tender will be for $2OO million with two maturities, the Reserve Bank said. It will comprise $lOO million of 63day bills and $lOO million of 91-day bills.
