Two die in road accidents
A Christchurch man died when the car in which he was travelling struck a power pole at the junction of Buckleys Road and Rudds Road on Saturday night. He was Colin McQueen Fowler, aged 21. Another man, David Terris, was injured in the accident and taken to Princess Margaret Hospital where he was reported to be fairly comfortable on the seriously ill list last evening. A woman was killed when she was struck by a car in Bower Avenue about 6 p.m. on Saturday. She was
Vera Rebecca Millar, aged 88, of Christchurch.
