Chrysler increases interest in Maserati
The Chrysler Corporation will soon increase its interest in Maserati from 3.5 per cent to 15.6 per cent An agreement between the American firm and De Tomaso Industries, the Italian Maserati manufacturer, has already been prepared and the existing
joint development programme will be extended. It was negotiated by Chrysler to help develop a new luxury sports car, the Q coupe, which should be launched about March 1987. The. expanded programme will involve the development and production of two more vehicles.
